No, but they don't care.

It amazes me how so many old arcade games are being revived and improved. i have mentioned good old Pac Man some time ago here, that is one example, and based on what i saw of the new one i was not impressed. Even the classic space invader games are being improved. I have recently added a new game to my computer called Active Lancer. It's a mac Space invader game and it is as impressive as a Space invader game is ever going to get, and it is pretty fun and a lot of work was put into it but the concept has been used hundreds of times with something new every time. I'm not really saying that its a bad thing though.
I have just finished a really weird game; Secret Of Evermore. The gameplay is almost exactly the same as Secret of Mana, but the there isn't much of a storyline to it. I found it to be just a fun, funny game. I really didn't take it that seriously either considering my main characters were named Goo and Blob, but it was fun none the less.
Anyother good old classic games you'd like to mention anyone?

Wow, a topic revival in all its splendor. (Or bump, whichever your taste) I've never played Secret of Evermore, but I know it was one of Squaresoft's early SNes works, but most of those other Square SNes RPGs I usually see as a build-up or follower to Chrono Trigger--that was the true highlight. I also notice that many Megaman classic collections are available for consoles now. Sonic the Hedgehog collections as well. Not terribly popular, but Nintendo needs every penny.

Yeah. but take note the Megaman is actually Sony. And Capcom. Even though Nintendo published the classics ones, Nintendo had nothing to do with the PS2 edition revival thing.

I was mainly referring to the Sonic collections there, apologies for being vague. But it looks as if the old remade Megaman games might be the best bet, the new Megaman titles don't look very promising.

Not really. X7 was sad. Easy, boring, and lame. Howerver, X8 is ver difficult. the RPG is a pile of Sh*t. But dont mind me, you seen it already.
The collection is a definte buy, it has unleased games on it like 9, 11, and 14, which were never translated for the SNES.

The RPG looked TERRIBLE, to say the very least. X8 looked alright, actually, but definately not a stand-alone game.

It reminds me so much of the Sonic games. They were incredible in the past and really enjoyable, but now the new Sonic games are either really easy or boring. They pushed that game a little too far, but the classics were still great! i would love to play Sonic 2 again.

Find a Sega emulator and go at it! There should be a mac one online somewhere.

I hope there is, nothing would please me more then to have that game on my computer! Although I'm still stuck with dial up, i might have to get it at school or in the city or something else.

Ok, well, I'll look around a bit I guess. But It will be tough to find a Sega emulator that works well...On a Mac as well!

I would imagine that it would be fairly easy to find. The Sega Genesis being such an old system, all the good emulators would be readily available, and even on dial-up, it wouldn't take terribly long to download. Besides, a virus infecting a Mac from such a download is a very remote chance.

Might as well try then. I must play all of the Sonic games. I never passed one of them yet and I soon hope to correct that.
