This is it: My final final tribute to Chrono Trigger, and largely Magus (Not the admin, the character I often draw) for this summer. The final drawing of the summer, for that matter--Magus in his Prophet persona. img206.imageshack.us/img206/262/prophetdrawingcopyuf7.jpgIt will be a while before I post any more work, my time will quickly be limited, but I imagine a drawing or two will wander its way into this topic every now and then.

I like that one. The original picture was missing some elements but you filled them in quite nicely.

It is a shame that there are so few images of Magus readily available. But perhaps in the future I shall simply draw them from my mind.

I'm surprised you haven't done that already.

It takes a great amount of skill and accuracy to do that. I have no doubt that I would be able to do it, but my interest was heavily in sketching. Perhaps it will soon be time to try drawing from my mind.

You should try it now. You have already proven that you can draw an almost exact replica of another picture, now its time to expand.

Perhaps, but my drawings are far from perfect, there are still countless challenges for me in the area of sketching.

It can take a long time for that to happen. You should give it a try at least and see if it's worth it to try that for a while or just continue sketching.

I can see its been a while since this thread has been re-visited. Nonetheless, I did say that occasionally a new work or two would make its way here. This is what I've been working on instead of additional wallpapers for a while. My first attempt at drawing Sephiroth: i9.tinypic.com/2r78oet.jpg

Thats pretty good! I like the detail in the armor, the scratches and such. The mouth is almost perfect, which I think is the hardest thing to draw. And the hair is pretty much exact.

Your analysis is mostly right, yes. The mouth was among the most difficult parts to draw. I was unsure whether the armor scratches would work out, as they might just look like a mess, but they panned out fairly well. The hair is what I did first, following the basic outline, and I mostly worked from left to right from there. I like how it turned out. I admit, it has been a while since I have worked my hand at the page.

That is one of the best drawings I've seen come from you. I can't find anything to complain about.

Yes, I like how it turned out in the end. I might be going back to wallpaper for a while now, though. Not certain, of course, but I've got to do something with Raistlin now (Or very soon), be it a wallpaper or drawing.
