I have a good idea of why you would think that, but just for the heck of why not ask? What makes you think this society is cowardly?

Ha! Want to get me started though? LOOK AROUND!!! We see wimps everywhere! Hell! 80% of North America is fat! We use guns that kill instantly! Thats as brave as anyone gets! People dont do anything risky, they wait for the "Proper people" to do it. Rules are everywhere! Rules this, rules this! Where just a good ol fasion confrontation!! Really, this society sucks!

Most would argue that some it's only worth taking risks if it's nessesary, if someone can do it better then why not let him do, it is his job after all. As for the rules they are put into place to prevent chaos and maintain order. These are not nessesary things I would say but lots would agree to that.

You would have loved the middle ages I think, if you look past the lack of technology. Risks were common place and the rules were enforced but not as much as today, and courage is a tool of survival. I would love to live in that time for a while.

But we are well beyond that age, so not point in complaining about it, might as well do what you can where and when we are.

Wow, what was that post about, trying to promote our society? Want to become your average joe? Hardly. The last thing I want to be is just some average joe with no ambitions! The average joe is the backwash of society, or at least the majority of them I've seen. This society needs some change. Our system isn't perfect and leaves us with the question: "What changes can be made?"

Good answer, but it would be a difficult thing to do. In any society, there will always be those who resist.
