All right, this thread wont last very long up here, but oh well. I am changing my username to Hari Seldon. He is a character in the famous Foundation Series, which I plan to read over this break, or at least start. It is very famous, being named the top sci-fi/fantasy series of all time. I changed my username because TMP was getting monotonous, and I need a change. Now, you have no nickname for me though, so you can call me Hari, or Seldon or HSF for Hari Seldon of the Foundation. I know it doesnt roll of the tongue as well, but that's too bad . I need to find a better image soon though, because that one doesnt work to well.

Nice. Heh, I actually never stopped calling you BP, believe it or not. With your XTKU name change and all, I never did. So, if you don't mind, that's still what I want to call you.
That good a series huh? Maybe has a few pointers...

Interesting idea. As I like to mention often, change is good. Do you have a new signature design in mind?
I told you before that I might be changing my name soon. Right now, I'm stuck between Crenshinibon and Jarlaxle. Search their names on Wiki if you wish to know more about them.

Which is odd, if its "the top Sci-Fi/Fantasy series of all time" (Even surpassing Lord Of The Rings?)

I still might call you TMP. Once you made a mentionable name, people stick to it. People still call me Mal and some still call The Rouge GS. Reno was even call Doc again recently, I won't be surprised if Ras is refered as DH again.

Pah, "Ras" is enough of a shortened nickname already, it need not be shortened to two letters again.

Heh heh...oops. Oh well. I just do that because I'm too used to it, and it gets difficult when names change all of the time. I usually ask people to call me GS, but they don't. Because they don't know.
It's funny how I never heard of that series either.

I have made my change at last, and I must say, it turned out well. I seem to favor the 3 figure and text format as Raistlin pointed out to me some time ago. The same was done to the Drizzt appearances. What do you think?

Nice. Just another name that is somewhat hard to pronounce, that's all. Other than that, it looks cool.

Then it is fortunate that pronunciation is of little consequence on a forum. But for the sake of it, I believe that it can be separated and pronounced like this: JAR-L-AXLE. Essentially the word 'Jar' and Axle' with 'L' in between.
The signature maintains your 3-image spread style. The background is not bad, to the uninformed member, but if you understand the significance of the crystalline look for the character, it is more effective. Jarlaxle could most likely, upon request detail the character further, as I am not very familiar with him.

Very well, since you asked for it Raistlin.
Jarlaxle is a drow who leads a house of mercenaries in Menzoberranzan call House Bregan D'aerth. Jarlaxle is the only male in the whole city that leads a house, and very few actually know where his stronghold is. Originally he came from Menzoberranzan's ruling house Baenre, as you can imagine he left and created his own. Jarlaxle is one of the most cunning of drow. His usual style of fighting is just throwing an inexhaustible supply of daggers, and a portion of the daggers he throws, are illusions, but he is able to fight with 2 swords when the enemy gets close enough. Jarlaxle always has an arsenal of magical items of multiple natures, and some of the items he carries are fake to throw off thieves and opponents alike. He was amazingly enough, a friend of Drizzt's father Zaknafien DoUrden. His personality can be described with one word: Opportunist. He does something only for profit, or to his advantage or just to satisfy curiosity. Recently he came to the surface world for profit in trade, however he came across a magical artifact called Crenshinibon AKA The Crystal Shard. The shard has a mind of its own and it only seeks to destroy and cause chaos. At first the Jarlaxle and the Shard had a common goal, and the always subtle Jarlaxle made a gradual approach. However, the Crystal Shard eventually worked more toward its personal goal and has taken control of Jarlaxle to the point where he became clumsy and weaker minded. Raising a huge crystal tower in the middle of the desert where everyone in the nearby city can see would be such an unsubtle action. His own house rose against him, but he and his assassin friend Artemis Entreri escaped with the Crystal Shard in tow. Now that Jarlaxle learned the truth of the artifact, he joins Entreri to destroy the Shard.

Well Jarhead, jarjar, or jar(whichever one works), it appear much better than the other marathon one.
Dont worry GS, a username, is no more than just a username, I call pretty much everyone what they first were as well. Call me what you wish. I dont 'perfer' a name.

Yeah, I know. What gets annoying with me is that when new members come and I ask them to call me GS, they just don't. It gets annoying because nobody really knows who I was. I only keep my username different because he's...well...I won't say here. Although you should all know. (I think, anyways.)
