Exactly. It's their countries, so let them do what they want. would the US want some random country like Russia to come in and change their government? I doubt it.

Indeed, so why should they do the same? Who are they to say that one countries government is not good enough for its own people?

Exactly the point. There is no logic in invading other countries to change their government.

No there is not. Look at the US. Just look at how much they've lost in Iraq in their attempts to recreate the government.

They've lost more than they realize, those bumbling idiots. Not only have they lost 3,000+ troops, but they have lost the support of the American people, and they have lost their position as the leading nation (the only reason they still seem like the leading nation, is because they have military force and, of course, nukes).
All of that right there is a death blow.

And after all of that what have they gained so far? They made sure they had no weapons of mass destruction (assuming there were weapons to remove) but did they get the oil that some suspect the US wants? Did they bring democracy to Iraq? (not yet, and perhaps they chose a bad time to do so) No wonder the people are losing respect for Bush.

well, the american people are afraid. That's just it. Here's a better term: whimps. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in World War 2, the American people were glad to go to war with Japan to get revenge, and they stuck with it. Moving ahead 60 years...Jihadists attack America. At first, Americans seem glad to go to Afghanistan and gain revenge. 3 years later, they want out, without achieving their goal. What's up with that? Honestly, I think they should stay there. Things like this take time.
