Kelvin said his pre-desmond hatch partner was rizinsky, who started the Blast Door Map and edited the orientation film. He also shot himself, in a similar way as Sam Tooney, Leonard's partner in a Pacific Listening Station, shot himself. I'm thinking there is a connection. Anyway, tell me who you think Kelvin's partner was, if we have heard of/seen them before. SOme though it was Mark Wickman, but why would he edit a video of himself? GIve me your thoughts on this. BY the way, in the Pearl Orientation, on one of the monitors the swan is visible, as is a guy near the computer. Go to www.Lostpedia.com, then the news archives for week of May 10. Scroll down until you see a black and white picture on the left. Here is the link img198.imageshack.us/img198/3402/picture4copy5oe.jpg

neat find, i think Rizinksy was not sucididal, just like Desmond said "Kelvin Died" without saying the fact that he actually killed him, I think Kelvin killed Rizinksy, see, on the map is says : Its a bad plan that cant be changed" so, this bad plan might be some kind of counter effort against the Dharma Crew, and he is so far into the plan, it cant be changed, and the only way to fix it is by killing himself, which Kelvin stops him by killing him.
More info on the Lost Pedia, search Rizinksy

Thanks for your response. But what is it with this hatch tradition? There are partners for a while, then one dies, then partners for a while, then one dies, etc.

Yeah, its a wierd pattern isnt it? Its almost as if Dharma wants new people there, so they kill one of them off, so a new one takes his palce.

Maybe they just want new blood so the guys dont go insane. But then Dharma wouldnt have waited three years to send Locke or someone else...

Maybe Dharma treats them like rats, tell them to push a button, see how they act for the 540 days, then kill them off and bring in a new specimen.
becuase really, you dont need a button pusher, you cna have a computer programmed to automatically release the buildup every 108 mintues, even back in the 1980s they had that technology, so it gets you thinking, is this a mix between both a mind test and a realy ElectroMagnetic study?

Once again, electropyschology.
I believe you that they could set up an automated program for that, someone on another forum mentioned that.

exactally, I think that there just using that as an excuss to get them to do thier work, and then Dharma can study them at the same time.

It's a likely theory but perhaps they have personal there to ensure the computer's success. If something goes wrong with the computer if it was automatic, who would fix the problem? And if there was a problem that could mean disaster to the project. It would appear that a failure like that is something Dharma can't afford.

Fenry Gale is Rizinksy. This makes sense, he knew the numbers immediately, was disturbed when he saw John just put the toolbox under and such. Besides, how else would we be able to find out more about Kelvin without Rizisnky being alive?

Whoever Razinsky is, he hid the spliced footage in the Arrow. This means it can be concluded that, since Desmond was there three years, coming in 2001, then Kelvin was there for at most 6 years, most likely 3, then the station had been inoperable since at least the Gulf War era if Razinsky could hide it there so easily.

It would be neat to find out Fenry is Rizinsky, since we do not know his real name yet. Thats a neat though, its got me thinking.

But, then it wouldnt explain much about the glass eye. Since we know Rivizkey cut the flim and put it in the arrow.
