I heard that in a podcast they said that the pearl was the ? on the blast door map. I know this is an old topic, but if you look at a picture of the map, you'll see, just north of the swan, a small question mark. My theory is that this is the question mark they refered to. There is a picture at this link lostpedia.com/images/0/0c/BlastDoorMap.jpg

yeah, I notied this too, also, looke hard at the right bottom of the map, right under CVIV and you'll see "The Pearl?" wiritten there. Now Im confused, the Pearl can now be in three palces, the palce you said, the place I stated, or the big ? mark...

Thankis for your response, and that is very confusing. I wouldn't think that a place the main ?'s would be the pearl they found unless there is more, and the orignal thought was that the others lived in the pearl and it was underwater, but there's is fake, so i guess that narrows it down. I did also see the Pearl? written there.

Yeah, also, the big ? says a whole bunch of wierd things, like Relation with DIGH: Unknown, Purpose: Unknown, and a few other Unknown thigns as well.
Now there are 3 possible locations for the Pearl.

There is also that big latin quote that says something like Don't consider anything done if there is anything left to be done. D.I.H.G. could mean Dharma Initiative Hanso Group or Dharma Initiative Henry Gale

I just rewatched the Pearl Orientation and im thinking, maybe the lines are the pneumatic tubes and the big ? is the barracks? Maybe.

it could be, or maybe those lines are underground tunnels? Since the tubes acording to the Finale lead no where

I did have that theory earlier its just my friend told me to post that. I would like to see an episode called Tunnels or Rabbit Hole in which someone decides to follow the hole Locke was going to be pulled into the ground. Maybe Hurley will fall into it on his way back from the Dock.

It would be interesting if Hurely did find something like that. He would play a bigger role then. If my theory holds, that the Cerberus system is selective of who to kill, and it created Hurley's imaginary friend, then it could be that the system has a purpose for him too.

It is possible, but how can you explain the fact that Hurley escaped? He had his frien's help to unlock a window from the outside. How could he have done that on his own?

I have no clue. Could it be his manifestation of the smoke?

Or maybe the window was always unlocked? It was just his imagination that it was locked.
