Sorry, thats not lucid dreaming. theres one way to tell, if it is normal or not. Was being a fighter and fighting Santa feel normal? If it felt normal, then it wasnt lucid dreaming.

Did it feel awkward though? did you say, what the hump? Why am I in this outfit, fighting this guy?
Lucid Dreaming is tough, even after about 2 months of dream recordings, I still can only do it now and then

Oh. Well, it takes alot of practise, Id recomend recording your dreams for a few months first like I did, Lucid dreaming is slightly better if your practice ways to remember your dreams easier.

It didn't work last night. But the night it DID work, I saw my cue and I said "What the frick?" And then I remembered that the last thing I remembered was that I was in my bed, and all of a sudden, I'm in my bed...with a shadowy figure about to kill me. What do I do? I make a giant ham fall through the roof and kill IT. Then, I look at my hands again, and the dream ends.

I tried to tell myself before I went to sleep to "Control the dream" over and over again. The results were not what I expected. All I got was a strange voice in my dream saying "Control the dream" I wasn't even aware that I was dreaming so that didn't work.

Woah! That must have been freaky.
Mecha, my cue was my hand.
I tried it again tonight, and it didn't work. I saw my cue PLENTY of times, but I just ignored it and nothing happened.

As it should, I recomend that you record your dreams in a book for a long time, and try to remember every dream you have. On average, we have up to 10 dreams every night, we only remember the last 1 or 2. But if you can train your mind, and write donw everything you can remember, you'll be able to remember more, last night, I remembered all 6 of my dreams. They were all pretty neat.Lucid dreaming is the lst step, try just simple remembering them first.

Funny, My dreams are indeed separate but they usually link to eachother somehow. How can you assign cues for dreams?

why?
You dont just assign Cues, you guys, record your dreams fist, do that for about a month or two, then, attemp lucid dreaming, it will come easier.
