Well i am glad i convinced you, maybe after i have taken a big chunk out of the sci-fi literature (I basically only read the ones that talk about future events and technologies) I will dable into some fantasy.

You won't regreat it. If you ever do get interested in fantasy, look for the authot R.A. Salvatore, he has created some of the most popular fantasy stories out there. I should get into some Sci Fi sooner or later as well. I knew they were based on science but I didn't think they would all be that accurate.

They are not accurate but incredibly prophetic, might i recommend 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea to start with? It touches on a few fantasy elements with Atlantis and sea monsters.

I hope I can remember to start with that after i finish my list of fantasy books. (They will last me for years) I have read it so long ago but now it's hardly a memory, that must change. Who wrote that book again? The only Sci Fi I've read is Star Trek, though they were good books.

...What a dumb question. Oh well, Looks like you gave me the name of a good Sci Fi author, I should make use of it. Any others worth mentioning?

Good good. There doesn't seem to be a lot of them are there? I took you advice and I have started to look in my encyclopedia program to learn some history. I have a new topic set up for such things now.

Well there are alot of sci-fi authors but i haven't looked at many authors but many books. Others include Ray Bradbury and Mary Shelley. Good for you about the encyclopedia, though i doubt you learned everything from Neandrythals to Terrorism in one day, did you?

Not a chance. I'm only on one topic that I know little about: The Cold War. I just plan to read a little bit every day if I can. It's so much easier to absorb that info that way. I plan to expand to further topics but I'll deal with which one to go to next when the time comes.
