I'm not surprised. The swarming fanbase they've amassed is probably pulling their hair out already. These movies were expertly advertised and screened, that's half the key to their success, the other half being the actual movie. Huge numbers of people will have gone to see the movie just to see what the hype is about.

Which means the directors and producers and creators did their job well. One good thing about this movie series: not only do they make it look good through previews, but when they actually see it, it really is good. Better, even. Those are the kinds of movies I like.
Now, I really hope they don't screw us over with the last movie. Because they have a good, crazy story going on that many people would like to see go the other way than they planned.

The Pirates of The Caribbean storyline in its entirety is already a finished product, and has been for a while now. Little will likely be changed in the making of the actual movie, so they must have had a good way to finish the storyline, or else there was little sense in starting it.

That's probably why they're releasing two movies in less than two years. I'm thinking they're already done acting and all that. They might have been done when the second movie came out. I guess it may depend on how long the special effects take. Which, really, considering how much special effects were in the second movie, might take quite some time.

Oh yes. For all we know they could be done almost everything except that.
I've heard something strange about Pirates of The Carribean some time ago: heard that it was similar to Harry Potter in the senes that it was a more successful rip off of another simiar story. I beleive that to be true fot Harry Potter but I doubt its so for Pirates. If someone came up with a similar plot before, then how could no one have realized it?

I don't know. There have been several pirate movies for sure, but this one works. The story has a somewhat familiar format, but a lot of movies these days do.
