Use this topic to post anything interesting you have learned or anything interesting you already know. I'm not too particular of what information you post here.
I have completed my readings on the Cold War and from that I found some very interesting things, mostly the communist movement in the East and their unstable allies. (China for instance) I knew the Vietnam War occured in this Cold War but I had no idea the Korean war was also part of it. Ironically enough, in both wars, the Soviet Union/ the communist bloc always supported ther north, and the US and the UN supported the south.

A topic for "knowledge"? Are you serious? A topic in which you can say anything. . . that you know? Too broad, Drizzt, too broad. Prove me wrong if you disagree.

Well, its knowledge, I guess, so its valid. Try again, Drizzt. I cannot see this lasting very long, but by all means, everyone, share your "knowledge".

Yeah this is a gambel. It will either be really good because you can discuss anything or it would be really bad for being too broad. It's better then the idea I had before: The General Topic, talk about anything you want here. I decided against it.

Just because this "knowledge" topic is slightly (SLIGHTLY) better than a "Talk about absolutely anything" topic, I can't see it working. I say again, too broad, WAY too broad.

Give it a chance and make your assumptions then. BOT: In the Vietnam war, (I didn't know about it until recently) the north was supported by the communist bloc and they had rebels in the south, which the US aided. The only reason the US aided them was to prevent the spread of communism. Many people are stil arguing whether it was the right thing to do.

BOT? There's no topic to go back to-- a list of things you know is not a topic!

...No wonder this topic won't survive, you seem rather uncooperative.

Yes, of course, THAT'S why its not going to work. Prove me wrong then, we'll see how far this gets.

Well, you've managed to stray away from what I was talking about twice already. Clearly you have not interest here and have no intention of trying this out.
