Answer 1: DId anyone indeed exist, except I, the creator, who would believe, unless his senses convinced him, in teh existence of the living monument of presumption and rash ignorance which i had let loose upon the world?
Answer 2: You accuse me of murder; and yet you would, with a satisfied conscience, destroy your own creature. Oh, praise the eternal justice of man!
Answer 3: When I looked around, I saw and heard of none like me. Was I then a monster, a blot upon the earth, from which all men fled, and whom all men disowned?
Answer 4: Slave, I before reasoned with you,but you have proved yourself unworthy of my condescension. Remember that I have the power;you believe yourself miserable, but i can make you so wretched that the light of day will be hateful to you. You are my creator, but i am your master,-obey!
Answe 5: It was on a dreary night in November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils. With an anxiety that almost amounted to agony, I collected the instruments of life around me, that i might infuse a spark of being into the lifeless thing that lay at my feet. It was already one in the morning, the rain pattered dismally against the panes, and my candle was nearly burnt out, when, by the glimmer of the half-extinguished light, I saw the dull yellow eye of the creature open; it breathed hard, anda convulsive motion agitated its limbs.
Which one?

They sound very religious to me. Where do they come from? I can't decide yet either.

THey come from the book. All copies from Barnes and Noble include good quotes of the book in the pages before the book starts. They are based on teh mosnters arguments about his life and the doctors struggle to deal with/create him

Either way my choice was 3, though i really don't know why. 2 seems just as appealing to me.
