There are all of these LOST books going around, and i've been thinking, and it would be pretty cool, if someone wrote a book about Desmond in the hatch, now that we know more about him. I though of a paragraph. Maybe it should be the forum project, write the Desmond book, called, "Seclusion" or something. Anyway, here's the paragraph.
Kelvin put on his yellow suit, leaving me alone in this place once more. But, just as a departed, I glanced at his suit. There was a tear in the leg. If he was going out with a chance of getting infected, maybe i should follow him. I waited for a while, and then wrapped a cloth around my nose and mouth, if the risk was still real, and followed him.
In the cover of the bushes, I spied on him. He took of the yellow suit. I followed, and quickly removed the cloth from my face. I used the cover available and began to follow him. I came to a rocky area, making it very difficult not to be noticed. I hid behind a rock near the water, and I saw the Elizabeth, sitting near the shore. Kelvin turned around and said, "I used to be a spook, I know when I'm being followed." I walked up to him and he said, "I'm fixing it, I want to get out of here."
In response, now angry at his plot of abondonment, I inquired, "Why didn't you tell me!?" I pushed him. He laughed and got free. In my rage, I pushed him once more. He fell on a rock that was jutting out from teh ground. He did not come back up. I tilted his head up, and saw blood there. He was dead. I had killed him. I began to cry. My only companion here on this island, and he was dead! Why did I kill him! I then remembered. The button. The button had to be pushed. It had to. I rushed back to the bunker, as fast as I could, ignoring the branches and thorns in my way. I rushed inside. Metal objects were beginning to fly towards a wall. The sound box(?) rushed towardsd the wall. Everything metal came towards it. I had no tome to admire this feat, however, and so I rushed towards the computer, and looked at the countdwon clock, strange hieroglyphics in each slot replacing the numbers.
I tried to type in the code, but when i tried to press execute, the entire screen filled up with the words,"sytem failure." Desperately, and seemingly in vain i tried to press execute. After continuous tries, more and more objects rushing towards the wall, I pressed exec ute one last time, and it all stopped. The countdown set back to normal, and I was relieved. Yet I still knew, Kelvin was dead.
What do you think? Post more additions to the story.
