My latest wallpaper is one of Lord Soth, the DragonLance death knight. The character's background is extensive, so I can't provide a complete description. Nonetheless, I tried to make the elements of the wallpaper fit the character, the castle, representing his lair, Dargaard Keep, the cold (Blue, I assume) aura that radiates from all undead, which can be clearly seen at the bottom of the wallpaper. Also, Lord Soth's symbol, the black rose (He was once a Solamnic Knight, the knighthood dedicated to honor, discipline, righteousness, etc. One of their symbols is the Rose, Soth's symbol seems a mockery, a black rose) can be seen. Not a particularily complex wallpaper, but I think it works quite nicely.

This is probably one of my favorite wallpapers Ive seen you make. Its dark, its nice, and its not riddled with effects, its clean, and perfectly belnded with a nice, Apocalyptic undead feel to it.
9/10 for sure. The only this is the LORD is more transparent than the Soth.

The glow on the eyes in the top-left image is not so intense in the actual image, that was added, just so you know. What do you know, sometimes one needs to return to something simpler once in a while to create something good. The effects themselves were exceedingly simple, but the combination of effects was, I suppose, a good mix. I also took measures on the right-sided image, as well as most of the other images, to give them a ghostly, blurred and faded look to them.
Yes, 'Lord' is a bit more faded than 'Soth'. This must be because of the position on the sword and how the Hard Light affected it.

I belive the color yellow is making the lord go transparent. The thing behind LORD is yellow, and is causing it to fade. Just like how a bit of Soth is faded because of the tip of the sword.

Which was not really by accident. I wanted it to be faded, but not simply faded text, it didn't have to be evenly visible, if you take my meaning. Still, that part could be improved a bit, I suppose. For now, though, I'll leave it as it is.

Ras, despite its simplicity, I would say that it is one of your best! The menacing castle was a good image to use and the undead effect covering it conveys the feeling of evil nearly perfectly. This one is near flawless and will remain as one of my personal favorites! I deem it a 9.5/10!
