I put these two wallpapers together because they are closely related to one another, which I will detail. (Obviously, I have played and finished Chrono Cross, which is the inspiration.) Chrono Cross is the theme of these two wallpapers, which were made quite quickly. They are intended to be closely related, as in a series. In the first, Serge is the dominant character, while Lynx holds a place in the background (The zoom/blur effect on the upper-left Lynx image was intentional, to give a warped, bizarre sort of appearance). There is a barely visible blur on Serge's weapon, but it is not obvious. There are faded images here and there, but nothing overwhelming. There is also an excerpt from the game's ending song in the bottom-left corner. Next is the opposite wallpaper, where Lynx is dominant instead of Serge. I believe that this one turned out much better. You may notice that the background effect is the same in both wallpapers, just that its colors are inverted, and its angle changed. Image alteration is minimal here. The extra green glow on Lynx's eyes on the central image, and the color scheme change on the bottom-left Lynx image are the most important. Serge is present, but faded in this wallpaper, the opposite of the previous one (Are we sensing a theme? I hope so.) Evil Serge is also there, and I believe that this image's placement took ample advantage of the shadows in that area.

Like I said on Chrono Shock, these are just great. The Serge suggests a calm ness, yet something is not right kind of feel to it, with the transparent Lynx in the back, and the lynx one posses great firey rage and anger that has Lynx written all over it.
9/10 for both for sure.

Ras you've done it again! These I would like to add to my desktop. These I would say, are the most basic ones you've done yet, but they remain amazingly clean and effective. Your idea of switching backrounds and forgrounds for the 2 wallpapers was a great idea and it paid off. I would agree that your second one is better, but not by far. They both hold a simiar effect and practically similar characters. Serge: 8.8/10 Lynx: 9/10!

I believe they turned out well, the Lynx one especially. I do like how they almost directly contrast each other. One problem I encountered during their creation was image gathering: I would much rather be able to take images from the cinematics myself, but I am limited to internet-available images. This is unfortunate, as I wanted that image (From the burning house scene) in which Lynx has his back turned, staring out the window, as well as a larger version of Lynx before the Dragon Tear.

Still, even if you were limited to internet images, it still turned out very good.
