Mitch and I were talking about this earlier, but he doesn't want to any longer, so I figured I'd ask you guys.
If my cartoons don't get published, I figure I might get a doctorate in areospace engineering and join the Air Force and maybe have a shot at becoming an astronaut at some point.
I'd join one of those school programs that lets you start out as an officer once you graduate instead of starting out enlisted.

Flat-out no. It would be terrible. I'm surprised you'd consider, Doc, the military isn't just hosing people down with guns all day, in fact, it hardly ever is. (Unless you're the US army, in which case you just shoot randomly and you're ok)

Spiffy. I hear a long time ago they had sort of dumb looking outfits.. at least according to my mom, my grandpa marine was in WWI I think.

Hey, I say the Marine unifroms are AWESOME! Remember: those are only the fancy, formal uniforms. You want to see fighting uniforms (they're pretty much the same as the army)?
