any of you see this movie? It was truely awsome work. Never have I seen such a movie since, probably the Lord of the rings.
The ending was awsome as well, especially the last 10 seconds:
[spoilers] It ended By Barbosa showing up, and then saying, " Now tell me, what has become of my ship?" takes a bite of his apple, and it ends. The ending, its like a LOST style ending. [/spoilers]

I've posted the bulk of my opinion in the Movies and TV Shows topic, but, in short, I very much enjoyed the first installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and the second did not dissapoint in any way. It actually takes some convincing for me to go to a theatre, I don't go unless there is a great movie playing (And there is never more than one playing, usually none) but seeing that movie was truly worth it. As 47 said, likely the best movie I have seen since Lord of the Rings. The ending was a masterful play on the maker's part-- great ending.

Its still playing? I was under the impression that July 13 was the last showing day. Must have been mistaken.

Wow. I was off. I was under the impression that the particular theatre stopped playing it on the 13th. Perhaps an extension?

Now, movies stay in theaters for 3 weeks, and longer if there popular

And that one definately is. But, to be honest, the popularity of a movie doesn't matter at all to me, the only part that matters is whether or not I personally enjoyed it.

Awesome movie, awesome movie, awesome movie, stupid cliffhanger!!!
The next--and supposedly final--movie in the Pirates series is scheduled to be released next summer.
Honestly, I wasn't too sure about how good this movie was going to be.........until I went! Wicked awesome!
