Man, EC, you continue to crack me up. But still, I do believe that Pirates has outdone Star Wars, especially with this latest edition.

I woudn't say outdone just yet. Both were very impressive, but Star Wars is considerably older and the new material still had to be tied to it. Both have their certain charm.

Well, I whent and I seen the movie again yesterday. You actually can see Barbosa in the scene when they first visit that strage " Her " person, when she lets the money go, it runs and jumps on a guys boot. Later you can notice that theres a dead person lying there, whith the monkey sitting on one of the boots.

USA showed the TV premiere of Pirates 1 and it showed a secret scene at the end of the movie where the monkey takes one of the medallions. Maybe the monkey gave one to the Captain? There was a similar scene after the credits ended in Pirates 2, it showed the natives adopted the keydog as their king. The monkey scene was also shown, I saw it after another movie ended that i watched and everyone left Pirates 1 and the door were open and I saw the monkey scene.

You can afford to look at BP's EC. It only contians an insignifigant portion of #2 and a secret in #1.

Well, in order to get why the monkey is running aroundin #2, you have to see the credit scene in #1, which I didnt, but I found out after. I seen it twice

Funny though, I thought that monkey would serve a better purpose considering how secret and important that final scene was. It looked as though it would play a huge role later.
