I voted S2 becuase in S1, it was mainly character introduction and such, the hatch and the others wernt introduced untill about 3/4 or 2/3 through the series, so, yeah, S2 was just so awsome, more explanation on the numbers, a new group of people called the Dharma Initiative, lots of twists and turns, just great!

I would have to agree with you on that one, I never did see all of the first season but I looked at summaries and heard lots about it to get the main idea: It was a few mysteries but mostly introduction. The second season was more about the main plot and the creators have demonstrated over and over again lots of great suspense! Especially the second season finale! That was just beyond description!! I can't wait to see the begining of season 3!

True, but a show with a twisted plot like that is a lot like a book. A good book requires sometimes 50 to 100 pages to get started and then it gets really good. So too did Lost require 1 season to do the same. It may not have be the best part of a book or Lost but it was nessesary to build up to what it is now.

Defantly, those episodes were all worth it, every one of them. It is truely a perfect plot. My favorite episodes were the first and last of Season 1. In season 2, every episode was awsome.

Every event was important one way or another, and I like that. It would not be so great if there was just a couple of episodes that mean nothing and are just there to kill time and take up space.

Yeah, with Lost that doesnt happen, every episode has a purpose, even if that purpose happends a few episodes or a season later.

With that level of complexity I can't help but to wonder how these ideas are created and when they occur to these people.

These people must draw some inspiration from forums such as these!

They probably do actually. I would not doubt that the writers visit forums to find things views want to see next. And probably ajust the script and presentation acordenly.

Possibly. If they do visit forums for ideas, at least some of that time would be spent looking at what many people expect to happen, and then completely change it into something unexpected.
