I have now seen the entire first season and now I think that my last theory is wrong. The ship recieved the transmition conataining the numbers. Who ever decide to make that a location for test did that before the Black Rock's comming.

There will probably be small things that the creators of the show won't ever answer, like the meaning of every phrase on the blast door.

That would be an interesting move, they could draw in some more publicity like that, not that they need more of it.

I hope they explain what every phrase is though. I wouldnt want them to go unexplained or without reason.
