Yes, I have heard, in a limited way, of Ba-Gua. Frankly, I did not delve too deeply into it, put perhaps it does play some role in the series.

Did any of you notice how similar Eko is becoming to S1 Locke? Locke tells that story to Sawyer, eerily depicting the exact thing he is going through, and then Eko tells that story about the boy killing that dog to protect his sister to Michael, just as what he is going through. Eko is also befriending Claire, becoming excited about finding hatches, building wooden things, and is a man of faith.

I didn't see all of the first season, but enough to understand your point. Eko may be more like S1 Locke but I doubt he will become like S2 Locke, especially after what he saw Locke do. Have you noticed that Bagua symbol (Pieces of the arrangement of line segments in the Dharma logo) are on the Korean flag?

Yeah, I did. A possible connection.
Yeah, Lockes chaging alot. At first, he was a cheery, Faith person, but now, after over and over again being disapointed is becoming something else, poor Locke.

I think it has already happened. Locke will prbably have more faith now that he has been proven wrong.

Good, now maybe he and Eko will join up and explore the crap out of the island, now that he has seen the Blast Door Map. Maybe Eko will see it too.

It won't be too hard either. Now that the swan is destroyed, all they need to do is salvage that blast door.

Some people are thinking that Locke activated that door when the failsafe occured, and Eko was inside along with Locke, and Desmond was far underground.
