There fine, they did not die, proof:
The explosion was not a explosion, it was a Electromagnetic Pulse, which simply renderend the magnet useless, since the magnetic was buliding up all the ElemtroMagneitic engery, the Kill switch simply killed the magnet, and al lthe EM engery was relased. Similar to pushing the button, but the kill switch vents it permanetly.

I would agree with you on that. Killing Desmond, Locke and Eko would not be a good idea, they are involved too much already. Their secrets and their involvment will be revealed in this season, i hope anyway.

They are way too popular for all three of them to be killed, besides, wasn't Charlie in there too, and he was fine.

yeah, and Eko pushed him in the direction of the shaft thing, not the door, so unless he ran really fast (which is unlikely since he was still in a daze and stuff) he would of died as well.

True but why did Charlie not even care how the others were doing? Didn't he suspect that they others in the explsion might need help or possibly be dead?

Yeah he was just sitting there by the fire explaining to Claire how his friends might have died. If I had escaped from a burning building with no firemen there yet, I wouldn't just go to my neighbor's house and be like,"Hey iI almost died when the roof collapsed, and why arent my friends here?"

Yes, his reaction was odd. He simply said "Oh, they're not back yet?" and then went about his business. His mind seemed a little rattled after the explosion and the electromagnetic pulse or whatever it was, so perhaps that has something to do with it, but, as usual, there is probably more to it than there appears to be.

Yes, but he showed a very vacant, only-half-there sort of reaction, he seemed in some kind of a daze, maybe it was a result of the electromagnetic pulse. Perhaps it will wear off in time and maybe he won't fully remember what happened?

Electromagnetics only affect magnetic and electronic stuff, not humans, Charlie probably knew they were fine, and was still sorta messed up from the TNT explosion.

That was my point, the TNT blast could have rattled his brain a bit, but SOMETHING must have happened, being that close to the electromagnetic pulse. Either way, I figure that perhaps he will show more concern once he's gathered himself again.

Yes, because we know the "polt" is the most important thing.
