I doubt any of you missed the reference to this new hatch. This could very well be the underwater hatch we thought was the Belt. (Or unknown, I don't even remember now) You were right in some degree TMP. Jack was at least underwater. I wonder where this would be on the BDM if its even listed there in the first place.

Im thinking its located in between the Swan and the Fake camp. Those two undiscovered hatches. It would make sense as well, since the planes falling angle was facing the right way, ect.ect

I must say, that moment inside The Hydra, when Ben warned Jack that they would all die if he opened the door reminded me very much of a button in The Swan. Regardless, it looks like the shark that attacked the raft way back when came from the Hydra, being an aquarium.

Yeah, The Hydra, without a duobt, is the Zoology part of Dharma they talked about in the video. The bears, the Sharks, the jungle/zoo like envoriment, it fits.

I'm not so sure that this would be the zooology. Having a general zoology under water does not make that much sense, but on the other hand it would be a perfect way to conceal the operation. I would agree that it is at least a marine zoology station.

You are referring the only the aquarium that Jack was being held in. Outside of that, on land, Sawyer and Kate were being held in cages in the jungle, and the captor (I don't recall his name) said to Sawyer after he earned the fish biscuit that it took the bears two hours to do that. He is presumable, Drizzt referring to the polar bears that were experimented upon at that station. The station is split off into marine and land zoology, but it all makes sense that they are considered the same station

That sounds logical. That would mean that the whole zoology section is not limited to just a hatch.

If you refer to the Hydra aquarium as "the hatch", then yes. They couldn't effectively study land and marine life in the same place, one research station had to be on land, the other either close to the water or actually under it, but they are both The Hydra, most likely, dedicated to the zoology aspect of the Dharma Initiative.

I was gonna make this topic...Oh well. I am curious as to how they go from place to place. It must be a tunnel of some kind, since Ben and Julia can get from place to place so fast. See, what i think happened is that someone went crazy, opened the aquarium and the door, and then let the experiments free.

It is also possible that it is in the same place. Connected. The land part, as you noticed, there is a building. Enter the building, and your in the water place. Becuase Remember, Juliet, ( who was with Jack ) managed to quickly reach an escaping Saywer.

Like a air tight pipe or tunnel system perhaps?

WHAT? Maybe just a hallway. If you ever seen an aquarium you'll know theres usually a surface, and a underwater section. With a hallway to lead one into the other.

But keep in mind that this is no ordinary aquarium. You might be right and i might be right, time will tell. Regardless of what they are they serve the same purpose anyway.
