Ben is about 40 years old, it is most likey him that is dying from this huge spinal tumor. It would explain why Jack is there. NOTE: it might also be one of the less popular characters, but knowing LOST, it would be Ben to add more effect

It wouldn't surprise me. My earlier theory about that was that it was either Sawyer's or possibly Kate's X-ray.

Yes, but if it was Saywer or Kate, why would they care? Its probably someone important, thats why jack is in a special area instead of Saywer and Kate. I am 100% positive, its Ben. It would add the maximum " Effect " of all roads come together that LOST revolves around.

It makes sense I agree, but with Lost one is usually never 100% sure of anything. The only reason I would suspect Kate or Sawyer is if they are just examining them for current information to fill some of their gaps in their information of them, but I agree that your theory makes more sense.

Yes, Ben having the tumor makes the most sense. If Sawyer or Kate had it, Ben wouldn't have any reason to take them to their village. He apparently brought Jack for that purpose, but I wonder what the reason for keeping Kate and Sawyer was?

An expiriement would be my guess. Or perhaps the others are working on some sort of a plan, and they might have just have removed the ones most likely to ruin or hinder that plan. I wonder why Locke hasn't been taken. If he is one of the good ones, then shouldn't the others be trying to get him to their village?

The trailer for the next two episodes reveals that Ben has the tumor.

No doubts as to why he needs Jack anymore. My earlier theories have been proven wrong.

That certainly is an interesting twist. Jack was apparently brought for the express purpose of treating Ben, but the purpose for Sawyer and Kate is yet unknown. Perhaps they are meant as a motivation for Jack to treat Ben (If Jack refuses to treat Ben, he might use the safety of Sawyer and Kate as leverage. In a scenario like that, though, threatening Kate's safety would be more effective than threatening Sawyer's. He may have a different purpose altogether.)
