Wow! That was almost as intense as the end of season 2 premiere. Whats going to happen, where will they run, what did they mean by "Take Alex Home" (Since clearly the houses/villiage is on the main island.
Did locks message " Open your eyes and look north" mean where to find the second island? Could Eko see the island from where he was standing in the ? episode?

I very much agree. This newest episode was awsome (for lack of a better word), incredibly good, one of the best I've seen. There was some very intense plot moments, especially when Jack stopped operating on Ben.
That message from Eko was very interesting. Could Eko have really seen the other island from where he was? When did he have time to write this? (Unless it somehow wasn't even him) It does make sense that it could be a message leading to the other island. Great episode.

Jacks decision was suspenseful to say the least. At first I thought he was just going to try and remove that tumor to gain more of Ben's favor and continue to play the role of the pawn, but instead he took control and for the moment, he holds all the cards.
There is only one way I can think of as to why Eko knew about the Island (assuming that was what he was referring to) Locke and Desmond had some sort of vision or future sight, so it seems likely that Eko might receive the same thing. Perhaps he was given a glimpse into the future and he had sent a discrete message to Locke to change it.

Or mabye, he just seen the other island when he was ontop of the hill, and he really wasnt in shock about the ? mark, but about the island.

I did think the tension build up was very expertly created. Jack's plan was well executed, and yet this proves that he doesnt care about Sawyer and Kate does. I desire to find out Ben's fate, and what happens if Locke finds the other island, perhaps it is something else that they find. Who opened the door for Jack? Was it Alex?

I'm thinking so, it sounded like the same voice, but that would seem to suggest that she had access to some of the communication technology or monitor. Either working with the others or simply escaped from wherever she was.
