This game, is a go for sure. Ive started the programming, and have this much completed: 1 Vehical. ( Dr. Wily, Mini-pod) Most firing sprites animations 7 defined sound effects ( collecting items, firing weapon, ect.) 3 weapons. ( Wily Buster, Triple Shot, Megashot, all for wily mini pod) 2 items. ( Power shot (no recharge for mega and triple shot) & super speed) 8 moveable directions Whats going to be done: At least 3 vehicals 3 or more weapons per vehical. Over 6 items over 20 enimes. Over 15 levels Over 15 bosses. There isnt going to be much of a story. The setup of the game is a side scrolling left to right shooter. ( like thundersprities) Here's some screen's so far: IMAGE 001: Dr. Wily, shooting a triple Charge. Notice how the Triple shot notifier is red? This represents if you can shoot the weapon or not. Don't mind the green squares, those are test emitters. They will become walls, eventually. IMAGE 002: Dr. Wily shooting everything rapidly, this is happening because he is using a very rare item... THE RAPID SHOT. The rapid shot is over 300 lines of code, and causes no recharge time for the mega and triple shots. IMAGE 003: Wily dashing, with the Super speed. Dont worry, it only looks ugly because its a freeze frame. The animation is very fast and blurry in real time play.

That actually looks pretty good. The style for the inventory slot and the status bar in general aren't ugly and cheap. The three Wily heads representing lives, simple but effective. This is yet another game you're making before Resurrection, but you're actually planning on it having 15 levels (Therefore 15 bosses)? Even a full-length Megaman game has 12 bosses, give or take. 15 different bosses for a test game might end up being too many, seeing as how you're still going to make Remixed after this one(?). In addition, you'd be limited to the kind of boss that a guy in a pod would be able to fight--big bosses that fly around in front of you shooting at you, that you have to hit a certain part of them to damage it, etc. Are you planning on Megaman making an appearance somewhere in the game, as a final boss perhaps?

Sort of. Although Ressurection and remixed are good idea's, I'll have to see what resources are available. As of now, Dr. Wily Attack should take to the end of Feburary.
The final boss is Dr. Light himself!

I assume Dr. Light will be in a pod like Wily, or some huge machine, unless its going to be an old man fist-fight. Still, Dr. Light doesn't seem the type to create huge war machines like Wily does. . . but I doubt this game is intended to be storyline-rich anyway, so almost anything goes. Until the end of February? At least, I'd say, depending on how much you're going to work on it.

With at least 1.5 hours a day...at least until the end of Feburary.

What do you have planned for Dr. Light anyway, or for any other boss for that matter. Mega Man Bosses won't really work for this kind of game.

An example of a boss fight. The gauge is the same length everytime. It fills longer. Fills 5 points a step, theres 30 steps in a second. So about 150 points asecond.

Nicely done. I can only imagine the work you had to put into this. I guess there are some bosses that can work for this kind of game. Dr. Havok seemed to worked.
