No wonder I don't get it.

I don't think I've already posted in this one. To me it's not really a question of comparison, seeing as both types can be great in their own ways. I love good games, no matter what year they were released in. A classic will always be a classic, so I play Sonic 1 or Bubble Bobble as much as I play Jak II, which is a fine example of a good modern game. Something's no good, though: adapt old-styled all-age games to "mature" audiences just for the money. It kills the franchise. Here's a picture I posted on CM about the old Bomberman and the new upcoming one: Whether people liked the chibi design or not, such a change is stupid. It's not just Bomberman. Practically every character's getting this kind of revamps, some more than others. See Shadow the Hedgehog for more info. That game killed everything that made me like Sonic in the first place.

What happened in Shadow the Hedgehog?
And yeah, that kind of change right there is retarded.

It's another flaw in the game company's thinking: They sometimes think that slapping a few now details to old characters or completely changing them and new and improved graphics will make a good seller.

I know, I hate when companies do that.

That's like making Mario turn into Halo!

It will happen eventually. I can see Mario fighing koopas in a pos-apocaliptic world with his trusty mushroom gun to save a semi-dressed princess.

Is that SERIOUSLY what Bomberman is changing into? The old version was ugly, too, but THAT! Looks almost like a cross between General Grievous and..... Terminator? I don't know, but it looks.... dumb.

It does a little bit to me. I don't Nintendo will bring Mario to that level. Who could honestly take a game like that seriously when you look at the past projects?

Very true. very very true.
I played battlefront again. I got 75 kills, and 1 death on a conquest. (On a conquest, there are only 175 troops) My entire team died out(It happends at the beggining of story mode) and I was left alone to kill 54 people. It was fun.

Nice. My BF2 still hasn't arrived. Or maybe it has, and my parents are keeping it from me until my birthday.
