I have noticed the style used in Secred Of Mana is rather unique compared (Except for secret of Evermore) to lots of other RPGs I've seen. Is the Kingdom Hearts game similar Reno? A lot of other RPGs i find require a lot of tedious training sesion, not so fun i find. So far Chrono Trigger is the only RPG I have played that does not require lots of training sesions. Its a shame they arn't used as often.

well, Secret of mana is a ARPG. But is commonly known as just RPG. An Action RPG is a RPG with classic RPG attributes, but its not turn based. Zelda, KH, SOM, the new Final Fantasy, are all becomming APRG, since standard turn based RPG's are getting slow and boring.

But, in a far older way, it could be (From what I've heard) like the Kingdom Hearts battle system as real-time battles. SOM had that in a limited form.

But it was impressive for its technology. I didn't know there was an ARPG classification. They do use that form alot now from what I've seen.

There you go wtih technology again. Its almost as if Technology determines the game. Not at all. Its effort and time put into it.
