Here we will rate and discuss games, movies, books, anything we can think of. It would be advisable to post pros and cons for these reviews. You don't have to use the topics I suggested. There are lots of other things to review, just name it and away we go!
Lets start with a movie: Lord of The Rings #1 The Fellowship Of The Ring. Any lord of the rings movie is enjoyable and were very well done, however, the first one seemed like it was rushed a bit and some details were left out or severely changed from what it use to be in the book. For example, in the book, Merry and Pippin did not meet Frodo and Sam together, they came separately. (I only read the first 4 chapters in the book but i have heard from Ras that much more was changed) And it seemed to move very quickly. If you remember, when, the trip to Rivendel did not take very long did it? According to Ras, the book took a long time to accually get to Rivendel, and so it should, Sam had said that they were days from Rivendel. And this just a preferance, but I would have liked to see some special effects during the duel of Gandolf and Soroman. On the positive side, it was very suspensful, and it didn't drag on and on. I liked the costumes used for the orcs and the goblins, very realistic. I give it a 8/10.

Cool topic, Im just gonig to edit it a bit if you dont mind, to make it more eaiser.
Please put th gerne it is in, book, movie game, and the title, and then a rating at the end, similar to grump.
-Movie
Dawn Of The Dead
I liked this movie, a excellent horror movie, about a Zombie plague outbreak. I lked how it showed one, and one prespective only. ( for example, the camera was always with the survivors, it never whent across the globe to a science lab where they research whats gonig on) This is why they dont explain much about the desies. Becuase its a one prespective only show. Its incredibly bloody, and is rated R for the reason. A musat see, so much like Resident Evil.
8/10.

I should watch it sometime if its a good as you say it is. When we do the reviews, perhaps we should stick to 1 topic for a short while and then move on so we can all offer our opinion on the current topic without too much confusion.

-Video game
Rampage: Total destruction
You probably all know about the original rampage. Well, Total destruction, a new rampage game has recently been released! It features over 25 characters, in decent graphics. However, despite all of the playable characters, the game does not live up to the originals. The story is loose and not very good. The controls are absolutely ashaming in this game, in which you have to press up when you are on teh same spot as the building just to climb it. The game also suffers from easiness, but the graphics and fully destructable enviroments are quite nice.
5.5/10
hows that for a review?

Looks good to me. Pros and cons both were mentioned. I guess the game you Total Destruction is living proof that you need more than just good graphics to make a good game.

yes, the 20 dollar price tag does not change the score, as the game suffers from many things that get in the way. I actually have a scan from a magazine of it, if anyone watns to see it

First, it should be a JPEG, if you have a program to convert images like that then use it to convert it and reduce the size if you must. That should reduce only to a couple hundred KB.

It works, I do it for all the drawings I scan. If you want, you can further reduce the size by grayscaling it, but you'd probably want color, so just change to a better format.

yeah. Reduce it to a good 800x600, and crop out any un-needed space. And make sure it sa JPEG, and if it doesnt have much color, then make it a GIF.

But otherwise, stick with a JPEG, you won't find anything much better.

Just for the heck of it I would like to rate Marathon. You remember that don't you Arthas? The game with a 3D environment and 2D graphics. It has good game play, but it can get boring and frustrating at times, the storyline is pretty good but the graphics are TERRIBLE! It has no music what so ever! Oh well, what can you expect from a first person shooter game from Bungie in 1996? All and all, I give it a 7.2/10, mainly for the game play and storyline.

Well, since no one here yet has reviewed a book, I will start.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Continuing his streak of prophetic works, Jules Verne envisioned in this book a prototype of a nuclear submarine. As a mysterious sea monster plagues the world's oceans, an American mission chases the alleged beast across the seven seas, besting it in speed. But, three crew members enter the belly of the beast, revealing it to be a submarine commanded by Captain Nemo. We are taken under the sea, exploring its wonders, such as monters, aquatic formations, and even Atlantis. It does, however, bore some with long, drawn out pages of classifying underwater species, but these pages are much rarer than the constant scenes of danger and adventure. I give it a 9.5/10.
