For me, it takes a 800x600 2x2 AA render 20 to 30 seconds to render. I once had a 1700 frame movie rendering, at 800x600 2x2 AA, it took 7 hours!

What are you talking about? (That's my vote, I know what you said.)

Well, mainly, how long it takes to render a 800x600 2x2 AA render.
2x2 is just how much Anti-Asiling is used. Theres usually
1x1, box rendering(complex models will show some edgyness) 2x2 (rarely see any edgyness) 3x3 (never ever see any edgyness) 4x4 (wasted effort really)

Well, if you ever get into Modeling, Anti-Alising and Aspheric Filtering is a big thing.

Don't use Blender for rendering! It can take forever! The screen is smaller than the Doc's and it still takes at least a minute. My throne room took like 3 minutes!

Well, at least it's not 10 minutes. Otherwise, I don't care.

Oh, then you might not mind Blender then. Its really advanced but its hard to use, interface is incredibly wierd and the manuals are not even complete.

You don't have to rub it in.
