For a while I was considering making wallpapers of my own, but Reno posted that idea first. Nonetheless, I have recently completed one of my own, and others will follow. I decided to start with one of Warcraft's Illidan Stormrage (I am only posted the small version, unfortunately), and then later Final Fantasy's Vincent and Sephiroth, and Raistlin, of course. Any other members are welcome to post their work here.

Now that is work worthy of your desktop Ras. If I can get some good material to work with, i will try to make a Drizzt or and Arthas wall paper.

Sorry for the dit Ras, just changed the title a bit. Lets make this A Wallpaper Thread. Everyone, submitt your wallpapers. In a 400x300 Size. Or around there. Everyone can then rate, comment, complain, ect.ect. Ras, thats one good wallpaper. The text is "almost" perfectly blended, with perfect layer blending and transparence. 9/10 Everyone knows my Reno Wallpaper. Using Advanced CS2 blending, and PS Effects I made, based on Tutorials online. And a new one...Vincent. Using very detailed Renders in the back, and blending in the borders, Fonts, text and images themselves, this one, is defantly awsome! ( I think ) The 400x300 version however, got slightly blurred. Imagine it more sharp!

I like what I see here. Ras's Illidan: 9/10. If i didn't know you made this, I might have suspected that Blizzard made it.
Reno's Vincent: 8.8/10. I can't even begin to think how you achieved the effects you put into that. The only problem I see here is that the pipe border does not connect as well as the Reno wall paper.

Well Drizzt, I tried connecting it, but it looked very cartooney and fake. Metal pipes wernt just suppose to blend into each other I guess.

But it appeared that the pipe work on Reno was just fine.

yes, because it was horizontal, into Verticle. But if you ever look at a real Metal pipe, when its welded in Vertically, it doesnt go completely blended.

You have a point there, regardless it looks great. Worthy of putting on any desktop. How did you get that green effect anyway?

Its a combination of many filters, and layer blending.

Next up, I present: Sephiroth. The I is there, its tough to see, especially on the 400x300. The bottom image got slightly blurred when I scaled the image for the forum. Also, for some reason, when I resized it, the boder got darker. Imagine it brighter. Here it is. EDIT: I noticed a very pixelated edges, and had them fixed already. Also, the bottom IMage, his collar is gimped up, that too, has been fixed. EDIT #2: To show what I mean in EDIT #1, I re-hosted the image. See for yourself:

The Reno, Vincent and Sephiroth are good, I don't usually do number ratings, though. They are all similar, as in a series in that they all use the bar section style. I myself have finished a Vincent wallpaper, and a Sephiroth will follow, incidently. They will be far different from yours, I assure you. Here is the Vincent wallpaper:

Excellent Vincent. Very well done. The blending of images whent quite nice. With only a small amount of edges present. Still, I wouldnt complain and use it as a wallpaper.

I realize there were some visible edges, but finding images that didn't have abrupt cut-off points was difficult, and it wasn't easy to fix some of those problems, but I think I notice a visible edge on your Sephiroth wallpaper, too, but that's hard to avoid. Next up--Sephiroth.

Here, I'll focus for you: It appears a foreign edge, yes? It could be a shadowed hair, but it doesn't really appear so.
