This system would be potentially dangerous if someone hacked into that system. They could essentially brankrupt everbody link that account if they so chose to.

Maybe so. And if you have a system like that, there will always be lifeless blunders trying to hack into it day and night. Maybe they might hack through one day, maybe they won't. Even if they did, they would probably get caught right away, unless they invested all the money necessary for them to buy equipment that would protect them. On the other hand, they might mess everything up. In the end, so pointless.

Of course, what if there was no possible way to hack into it? I personally have no idea yet, but who knows?
PS, No porblem, Mal. I thought this forum could use more life.

If there is a way to make it, there is likely a way to hack it. That having been said, it would probably be next to impossible to accomplish, but likely only by, as I say, people who do nothing but try to hack into it.

To make it completely invulnerable to hackers, you would have to isolate to the point where no one at all can access it in any way.

Except one person. Which, in the case we're talking about, would be the leader of the country. How would that be possible? Hmm...well a DNA lock won't really work. Voice lock won't work. Hmm...I can't think of something right now, but it would have to be possible.

Heh, if there's anything that spy movies have shown, its that a retina scan (Or DNA scan/lock) won't work. Besides, everything "important" information-wise is kept in a computer database of some kind, never actually behind a DNA-locked door. I suppose a DNA locked file is what you're thinking, but is that even possible yet? Voice lock definately wouldn't work. The only thing they can think up would be to encrypt and guard the data a thousand times and hope for the best.

DNA won't be all that effective. All you have to do is get living cells from the needed person and have the scanner scan that.

Or if its a hand imprint, go Metal Gear style and knock the guy out and use his hand, that would work with a retina scan as well. Very few effective security technologies stay effective for very long, become obselete quickly. Even for household security, really what is effective? A lot of people probably just put an AlarmHorse sticker on their window and feel nice and safe while saving a precious buck. People are gullible, and some criminals are even worse.

Well, I don't know what's possible right now or not. I'm just saying. What if it was? What if when we're the age (30-50) the technology becomes possible?

Oh, I imagine it will be by then. But then again, you agree that it probably wouldn't work, seeing as how by then voices might be easier to duplicate. Interesting concept, locking computer files with some sort of DNA or voice lock as opposed to (Or in addition to) passwords.

It does have potential I'll give you that. There is really no 100% safe or fool proof way to do something like that.

Not yet anyways. Probably something will be invented that right now we can't imagine. Like a long time ago we wouldn't have imagined DVDs.

There were many things today that no one even a decade ago would have thought of. The MP3 players for example.
